Tailor made for a great time with some family bonding thrown in for good measure, the Father and Son package is a one day experience based at our Mamaku Training camp in Rotorua. Join the team for a great day out, learn the skills , enjoy a “Wild foods” BBQ lunch and put the training to good use with a live animal hunt to complete your day.

The package includes:

Firearms Safety training
Static Target shooting
Reading animal sign
Animal Habits training
Animal target shooting and stalker training in the field
Live animal Hunt
“Wild Foods” BBQ Lunch

This package is priced at $650.00 for Dad and Son / Daughter with the animal price set at:

Fallow deer (meat animal) – $285.00
Red Deer (meat animal) – $385.00
Pig – $270.00

Enjoy a Basic Instincts “Wild Foods” BBQ lunch of Wild Pork or Venison at $35 per person (standard lunch option at $12 per person is also available)

Overnight stays at the camp are also available at $150.00 per person on top of the package price.

Deer Stalker Training

This is a one day package for the good keen hunter that wants to learn the skills of Deer stalking in a variable terrain environment with native bush margins. This is ideal country for bush edge training. Life size animal targets are set in typical feeding locations so the Hunter can be trained to observe, stalk and clean shoot the target animals.

The package consists of:

Firearms Safety training
Static target shooting
Animal target shooting in the field
Reading animal sign
Learning the habits of the animals
Skeet Shooting (add on option if required)

This is ideal for small groups, starting at $650.00 for 1 person and can be upgraded for a 6 person package for $850.00 per day with ammunition and equipment provided. A Wild Foods BBQ feast can be provided at$35.00 per person (standard lunch option at $12.00 per person also available).

Skeet shooting is also available as an add on option and is priced at $65.00.
